China: Total War Tsin Empire Invasion (Three Kingdoms Mod)

Tento ambiciózní projekt se dá označit za malý neoficiální datadisk. Přidává do hry "Provincial Campaign", ve které můžete hrát - světe div se - za Čínu. Podle příběhu se do Evropy dostala silná čínská armáda pronásledovaná Huny, a založila zde říši (cestou stihla také zničit Arménii a Parthii). A na vás je teď dobýt celou Evropu.
Mód má své vlastní intro, které je zajímavé, jen trochu dost rozmazané. Obrázky při loadování zaměňuje za kresby čísnkých vojáků a zbraní, to už tak povedené není. Ve hře začínáte s poměrně silnou říší se třemi provinciemi na východě mapy. Najdete zde 23 úplně nových jednotek (China Militia, China Light Infantry apod.). Toto příjemné oživení hry stojí za to!

Již podle názvu je jasné, že se s tímto módem dostaneme do Středozemě čtvrtého věku. Přinese desítky nových jednotek, jak můžeme vidět na spoustě krásných screenshotů, a logicky také novou strategickou mapu. Možná právě proto ale autoři nejsou schopni říct, kdy bude mód hotov, blýská se lae na lepší časy. Již brzy by mělo přijít demo, chystá se spuštění oficiálních stránek. To vše naznačuje, že se s tímto projektem máme opravdu na co těšit.

Toto je další perfektně vypadající mód. Dostáváme do prostředí Medievalu - tedy středověku a můžeme očekávat spoustu úžasných nových jednotek. Připravuje se ještě verze pozdího období středověku a také to nejlepší - singleplayer verze se strategickou mapou.

Multiplayer verzi módu raného středověku si můžete stáhnout zde (48,2 MB)! Obsahuje 60 nových jednotek a 19 frakcí hratelných v MP a Custom Battles! Ty také obsahují mnoho nových map, navíc jsou součástí módu ještě dvě historické bitvy.

Navnadit se můžete také dvěma replayi z bitev - Almohedáni proti Castile a Mongolové proti Byzanci, nebo oficiálním trailerem. Další informace najdete na oficiálním fóru módu.

Potěšení hlavně pro milovníky Řeků, je to ale také jedna z mála velkých modifikací, které přinášejí nějakou změnu herního systému. Tímto módem se dostaneme do let 510 - 431 před Kristem, období od Perských válek po začátek válek peloponéských. To je sice pouze 79 let, ale tady je ta nejoriginálnější změna: ve hře bude 8 tahů za jeden rok! Jeden tah bude zima, kdy se nebudou moci vést boje a armády se budou muset utábořit, nebo riskovat ztráty. Zbytek budou dva jarní a dva letní tahy, ve třech tazích letních se jednotky budou pohybovat rychleji. Toto prodlouží hru na 632 tahů. Na úplně nové strategické mapě, zahrnující jen řecká města a přilehlé balkánské oblasti s východní částí Turecka, budou z národů samozřejmě Athény, Sparta, Korinth a také Makedonie nebo Persie. Z jednotek jsou na screenshotech vidět nové typy nepřemožitelných hoplitů apod.
